Energy and Rsource problem introduction

We face many complex problems and for the most part have given up doing rain dances and sacrificing virgins to control our world. Though sometimes I wonder if that is really true. In our ego driven political climate none of our leaders on either side of the aisle have had the balls or the desire to address these very basic problems that we have recognized for over 30 years.

They have been influenced, I believe, by two major groups, the Oil and Gas people and the little green people. The oil people just want to make as much money as they can with as little investment and risk. The cover of the Cartel has allowed them to do this. The little green people, lgp for short, have found a pagen god who they have taken to their former red bosoms.

What if we were energy independent in 10 years?
1. Our foreign policy would change.
2. Our economy would be more stable.
3. We would be more secure in a dangerous time.
4. We would provide jobs of our own people.
5. Know our past record we would have technology to export as well as energy.
6. Fewer young men would be sent to war to secure our flow of energy.

Can we be energy independent and maintain our life style rather than go back to the 1850s?

The answer is a strong resounding yes, but to do this we have to have some leadership that does not bow down to the Oil people and the lgp.

My brother studied Nuclear Engineering at one time but never ever used it. We let fear by ignorant people stop us from building nuclear power plants. We have uncovered huge oil reserves but let concern over a couple of caribou who live in a remote area and could easily move to adjacent areas stop its development. We have one of the largest coal deposits in the world and we have not aggrssively sought to develop clean ways of converting that to fuel our cars can use. We have the shale oil resource which would probably require a nucelar plants to develop fully.

On the water side we, here in California need desalinization plants up and down our coast if we are to have water to drink and help with our plant life.

We have the technology to do all of these things plus, the conversion of sunlight, wind, and earth's heat to address our energy and resources problems.

So the question I ask is how do we do it how do we solve this problem.

One sure way not to do it is to let the Oil people or the lgp have their way.

Actually the oil people are less of a problem than the lgp. To control the oil people we have to make it profitable for them to be part of the solution. The lgp, basically are like novice chess players they can only look on or two moves ahead and therefore are almost always wrong. They want to satisfy the rain gods, the grass gods, the lake gods and are willing to sacrifice many innocent souls to do this.  They are anti technology, anti business, anti independent thought and really would like all of us to grow grain and fruit naturally on our communes.

So again what do we have to do to Solve It

Say Hello

Hello world, this is my first posting. Its purpose is to say hello and to test the process. This blog is about addressing our major problems from a different peerspective. One which attempts to idendify the real core issues and to champion a methodolgy which is rarely employed outside of industry.

So Hello World
